What we did
We redesigned pjcenter.fi, the website of PJ-Center Oy, a construction company from Southern Ostrobothnia. The heart of the site is its reference portfolio: thirty construction projects from 1991 to today, each with its own page and photo gallery. The references live as a content collection, from which the project cards, counters, and sitemap are derived automatically.
The site is a static Astro build, deployed through a GitHub Actions pipeline to the company’s existing web host — the domain and email stayed untouched. Content is edited in the browser with Sveltia, a git-based CMS: a new reference with photos is created through a form, and saving triggers a deploy. Webp versions and responsive sizes are generated for all images automatically at build time.
