Koud is an independent Finnish software house. We work from our Kalevantie office in central Tampere, but engagements happen across Finland and occasionally abroad.
Story
What does Koud mean?
The name is the English word code spelled the way a Finn would write it. We wanted something short that works in both languages and does not lock us to any one technology. Anyone can be a koudilainen — and that is ultimately what it is about.
We have worked across financial services, healthtech, gaming, and industrial software. Our longest client partnership has run for over 7.5 years.

How we work
AI-native, not as an experiment.
Our AI-native developers use AI every day to write code, documentation, and architecture — both in the systems we build for customers and in our own delivery model. In practice, delivery takes fewer hours and the total cost is lower than the traditional way. Projects that used to be ruled out as too expensive are now reasonably priced.
