Merry Christmas party at the office and remotely

Just before the holiday season, we exceptionally organized a Christmas party at our office. The event included socializing, sparking creativity, and delicious food. Participation was also made possible remotely, allowing those who couldn’t be there in person to join in and enjoy the atmosphere, even if just for a moment. The office was already decorated in a festive spirit before the party.

After the initial glögi, we connected remotely with our craft workshop leader, HR Laura, who unfortunately caught a cold just before the party. A couple of colleagues also joined remotely. The workshop theme was “Christmas decorations from Hama beads,” aiming to practice dexterity, evoke nostalgia and spark creativity. Some used patterns found online, while others created their own designs. Everyone participated in their own way, resulting in wonderful decorations that will bring us joy in future Christmases! The Hama bead workshop was so engaging that many continued crafting even after the official session ended. It’s surprisingly addictive and versatile, even though the technique itself is quite simple. After the craft workshop, we moved on to more informal socializing. The atmosphere was light and filled with laughter as we chatted and played console games, especially the Japanese drum game Taiko no Tatsujin. Playing together added a nice twist to the traditional Christmas party.

Good food crowns the party! We ordered dinner from the local restaurant Muusa, known for its delicious vegan food that delights regardless of dietary preferences. Additionally, during the party, various snacks were available, and our employees had also baked Christmas treats they wanted to share with their colleagues <3

Successful office Christmas parties are born from shared experiences and a relaxed atmosphere. We also wanted to show our appreciation to our staff by providing flavorful packages from Poppamies. The felt bags were packed with various sauces and spices that will warmly enhance the upcoming winter days.
