In today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world, continuous learning is essential, especially in the ICT sector. At Koud, we aim to provide our employees with diverse opportunities to develop their skills. After the summer holidays, our software developers had a fantastic idea: why not start some recreational activities related to our work? And so, our own Hacklab was born!
In Hacklab, Koud team members gather after work to brainstorm, innovate, and work on various projects together. It’s a great opportunity to share knowledge with colleagues and learn new things. During these sessions, participants can deepen their expertise and experiment with new skills.
So far, we’ve wrapped up an ongoing RC car project, tested different image editing tools, created t-shirts, and developed card-based software. We’ve also brainstormed ideas for smart clothing, kinetic walls, sculptures, embedding LED lights into various projects, and 3D modelling. Hacklab’s goal is to encourage our employees to boldly explore new ideas and technologies!
Internal training as a builder of future skills
The IT sector is constantly evolving with technological advancements, market demands, and global trends. We understand that in-house training is crucial to help our employees adapt to these changes and keep our company competitive. This fall, we launched a series of internal training programs that will continue regularly throughout the year.
Our first course focused on SQL, covering the basics of the language. Next up is a course on cybersecurity, which is especially important at Koud.
We want to encourage our employees to engage in continuous learning and take initiative in their own development. By fostering a learning environment, we are not only investing in the present but also in the future of our company.
